Guessing u use civil war overhaul i bet I guess i could do the imperial questline while doing the main quest. According to my brother, if you're anything besides a Nord, joining the Empire is the most logical choice (since he says the Nords want Skyrim to be only Nords). Since the Civil War quest lines are faction quest-lines, Bethesda will probably canonize the events related to the Civil War simply by saying "The war ended." Talos worship, skyrim belonging to the nords etc. In that answer I heavily supported the Imperials. The civil war can still be completed after the main quest. The Dominion wants the Civil War to go on for years. just slightly different paths leading to the end. there are no adverse effects whatever you choose.
the main quest gets a couple extra quests. Yeah, I know there's plenty of threads about which side is morally right and such, but in the long run who would benefit Skyrim more? 1.0m members in the skyrim community. At least if the Empire wins the civil war, it's Cyrodiil, Skyrim, and High Rock against the Dominion. Overall i think the whole world has become crap. hoping that the military in Skyrim will be so weak that the Thalmor will invade and easily conquer Skyrim. I am going with the Stormcloaks, and anybody who thinks the Legion had it right is welcome to debate me. This is a debate over whether the Imperial Legion or the Stormcloak Rebellion had it right in the Civil War raging in the video game Skyrim. I believe the stormcloaks fight for a just cause but they arent going about getting it correctly.
